As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment throughout retail locations. Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, remaining visible to support a welcoming atmosphere, and responding promptly to incidents. This position requires driving and carrying a firearm, as well as delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication and professionalism. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential threats.

Maintain a visible presence to assist with access control and help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.

Communicate and collaborate with store management and Allied Universal personnel regarding incidents, concerns, or observations.

Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs throughout the location.

Uphold all company and client protocols while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Minimum Requirements :

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Level III Armed Certification and active Armed Guard Card is required for positions in Texas only.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
