We are currently looking for an Assistant Buyer for our client, a manufacturing company, located in Yonkers, NY. The Assistant Buyer assists in the purchasing activities under the direction of Purchasing Department management. Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel is required and knowledge of SAP is preferred. This is a Temporary to Permanent full-time (on-site) position. Hours : 8 : 30-5 : 30 M-F. Pay Rate : $25 / hr.
Assistant Buyer’s job includes some of, but not limited to the following :
Qualifications :
Required to possess a HS diploma or equivalent, Bachelor degree is preferred. Entry level experience or minimum of 1-2 year experience. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills. Must be proficient in Excel and Word. SAP experience a plus. Shall have capability of handling small accounts vendors.
