California Baptist University, an evangelical Christian university affiliated with the California Southern Baptist Convention, invites applications for the position of Lecturer in Radiologic Sciences. A terminal degree in the field indicated is preferred, although candidates with a plan to complete advanced degrees may be considered. This is a 9-month, contracted faculty position with a starting date of August 12, 2024. The successful candidate will join a growing program and faculty within the Department of Allied Health Professions in the CBU College of Health Science. For more information about this position, please contact Dr. Nicole MacDonald, Chair of the Department of Allied Health Professions, at [email protected] Pay Range The compensation for this appointment will range from $48,000 – $50,000 annually and reflects what California Baptist University reasonably expects to pay for this faculty appointment. Actual compensation may vary based on the qualifications and experience of the applicant, as well as market conditions. In addition to wages, CBU offers a robust suite of Qualifications Terminal degree preferred but candidates with a plan for advanced degree completion may be considered; must hold current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration in radiography or equivalent; must hold current CA state license in Radiologic Technology (CRT); minimum 5 years clinical experience in diagnostic radiology; teaching experience in field of radiology; ability and desire to work as a member of a team supporting the mission of the program and university. Teaching Responsibilities The successful candidate will teach a load of 21 units over a 9-month contract as directed by the Chair of Allied Health Professions and Program Director of Radiologic Sciences; contemporary, interactive, teaching that embraces the integration of Christian faith is expected and supported.
