Technology Assistance Center (TAC) Temporary Technical Staff
This position will provide front line technical support for faculty, staff and students at the Technology Assistance Center (TAC) and should have a combined skill set of technical and customer service abilities.
Duties will be performed on campus at the Technology Walk-in Center and will include in-person support as well as assisting clients via live chat and telephone. Applicants will need to be able to quickly learn support techniques for various platforms that the university utilizes such as Canvas, Team Dynamix and Banner; and should already be proficient with Office 365 software, various operating systems, internet browsers settings, and system troubleshooting such as WiFi and VPN. Hardware experience and / or familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.
Having the ability to professionally communicate both verbally and written with clients is a must. Position will work closely with our TAC student work force at the Walk-in Center and must feel confident with the ability to teach and mentor them regularly as they assist clients.
