MAS Environmental (a NOVA Engineering & Environmental company) is seeking a hands-on and dependable Operations & Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain environmental remediation systems at petroleum-impacted sites throughout the state of Florida. This is a field-based role requiring regular travel to various project locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental systems, mechanical troubleshooting, and field operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate and maintain (O&M) environmental remediation systems such as soil vapor extraction (SVE), air sparging, groundwater pump and treat, and multi-phase extraction systems.
• Perform routine system inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Collect and record operational data, including flow rates, pressures, and system run times.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues in the field.
• Conduct sampling of groundwater, soil vapor, and other media as required.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of maintenance activities and system performance.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Travel regularly to project sites across the region or country.
