Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Conflicts Attorney to work in the Conflicts Department within the Office of General Counsel. The position will review conflict check reports, identify, advise, analyze and resolve potential conflicts of interest, and work directly with attorneys to clear conflicts related to new hires.
This role ensures new hires comply with the firm's conflicts and risk-management policies. The position does not require billable hour commitment.
Position Requirements
- Juris Doctorate (JD) and active bar membership in good standing in the State of Nevada
- At least three (3) to ten (10) years of experience as a lateral conflicts attorney in a large law firm, or at least three (3) years of experience as a general conflicts attorney with one (1) year of cumulative experience related to lateral hire clearance
- Familiarity with the Rules of Professional Conduct
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational and analytical abilities, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitive data
- Close attention to detail, collaborative team member, self-motivated and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Experience with LawTime and / or Aderant is preferred
Minimum Salary
USD $110,000.00 / yr.
Maximum Salary
USD $140,000.00 / yr.
