Senior Project Manager - PMP Certified

Overview :

The Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in leading complex IT and business transformation initiatives through structured project management methodologies and Agile frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in project governance, scope management, stakeholder communication, and business process improvement—combined with the ability to translate functional requirements into actionable deliverables for development and testing teams. This position requires a current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification as validation of demonstrated project leadership and adherence to global PM standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Planning and Execution

o Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, risk mitigation strategies, and resource allocations.

o Lead all project lifecycle phases—from initiation through closure—ensuring alignment with organizational goals, stakeholder expectations, and compliance standards.

o Oversee development of detailed estimates, schedules, and milestone-based plans for complex multi-phase projects.

Governance, Scope, and Change Management

o Apply structured project management procedures and change control techniques to manage evolving project requirements and scope adjustments.

o Facilitate impact analyses, approval processes, and documentation of scope changes in accordance with established governance frameworks.

o Communicate effectively across executive, technical, and business audiences to ensure project transparency and accountability.

Documentation and Reporting

o Prepare and distribute mandatory project documentation including project charters, status reports, issue logs, risk registers, and executive dashboards.

o Maintain version-controlled documentation repositories and ensure consistent compliance with audit and reporting standards.

o Capture and document business requirements from stakeholders through workshops, interviews, and process observations.

o Translate business and functional requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed specifications for development teams.

o Partner with Product Owners and Data Owners to review current functionality, identify system gaps, and define enhancement opportunities.

o Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans in coordination with QA teams and business stakeholders.

o Write and execute test cases, track test results, and support defect triage and resolution processes to ensure product quality.

o Analyze, document, and automate business processes to enhance operational efficiency and streamline workflows.

o Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement through data-driven insights and Lean practices.

o Apply Agile principles to manage iterative development cycles, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release tracking.

o Collaborate cross-functionally with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, developers, and QA analysts to maintain project velocity and deliver measurable outcomes.

Required Qualifications :

o Applying comprehensive project management methodologies including scope definition, scheduling, risk management, and change control.

o Managing full project lifecycles and delivering technical or business solutions on schedule and within budget.

o Developing project plans, milestones, estimates, risk assessments, and contingency plans.

o Preparing and distributing professional project documentation and progress reports for stakeholders.

o Gathering and translating business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.

o Supporting User Acceptance Testing and validation processes.

o Analyzing, documenting, automating, or improving business processes.

o Managing projects under Agile software development frameworks.

o Utilizing Microsoft stack tools including MS Project, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Office Suite for planning, reporting, and documentation.

o Collaborating with Product / Data Owners to assess current functionality and define enhancement requirements.

o Writing and executing structured test cases for validation and regression testing.

o Current PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory. Proof of certification must be provided upon hiring.
