Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cardiology Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 24 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Cardiovascular Stress Test position requiring experience with nuclear, ETT, and dobutamine stress testing, as well as current BLS and ACLS certifications. Responsibilities Work in the Heart and Vascular Institute, focused on cardiovascular stress testing for both inpatient and outpatient populations The team manages up to 20 stress test patients per day Utilizes stress testing procedures involving Nuclear, ETT, and Dobutamine tests Uses Epic for charting, with prior Epic experience required 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday with some weekends and holidays as needed No floating required No on-call required Responsibilities include performing and monitoring cardiovascular stress tests on a variety of patients Support provided by physicians, nuclear medicine techs, LPNs, lead RN, and a nursing manager Facility and unit orientation provided, including 3-4 days side-by-side with a nurse Scrub color is navy blue Facility is closed for the six major holidays, with the day after Thanksgiving also observed Free parking available Requests for full weeks off may be accommodated to total 13 weeks with contract extension Requirements Active SD or compact RN license Current BLS and ACLS certifications Completion of an approved nursing education program Proven knowledge of nuclear, ETT, and dobutamine stress tests Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively Experience with Epic EMR required Candidates must live outside a 100-mile radius Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625603.
