About the Facility Location Scottsbluff is the largest city in Nebraska with plenty of sites to see while on assignment! Visit the West Nebraska Arts Center to see local art or climb the Lake Minatare Lighthouse! About the Clinician's Workday This CRNA opportunity typically involves working in an ACT model, but there is also the chance to run your own cases. Schedules vary and may include 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week; call-back hours count toward the 40-hour total. CRNAs work autonomously, performing regionals and OB (including C-sections), and they participate in trauma care while taking beeper call. One CRNA works in-house for OB and one is on beeper backup, with one MD also on beeper backup daily. Locum CRNAs handle backup beeper call only, approximately on a 1 : 4 ratio, and work a post-call day. Charting is done in Cerner. The case mix includes a level 3 trauma center with general, orthopedic, major vascular, neuro, thoracic, trauma, pediatric, OB, GYN, and endoscopy cases. When fully staffed, there are 9-10 CRNAs and 4-5 MDs.
