Department Office Assistant Scheduler
The Department Office Assistant Scheduler coordinates scheduling and administrative tasks to support radiology departmental operations. The Department Office Assistant Scheduler manages appointment scheduling, maintains records, assists with patient or staff inquiries, and ensures an efficient workflow while adhering to Health First policies and procedures.
Primary responsibilities include :
- Processing and maintaining all schedules for area of responsibility
- Communicating and documenting accurate data to other departments and external physician offices as required, regarding schedule changes
- Communicating effectively with customers (patients, LP, other Health First associates, the public, etc.) always using excellent customer relations skills
- Occasionally assisting with data entry into reports, creation and maintenance of databases, spreadsheets, and other documents using a variety of software applications
- Maintaining a safe environment for patients / customers, team members, and yourself
- Following all Federal, State, and Regional healthcare regulations and adhering to the Joint Commission
- Maintaining flexibility, adapting to changes in workflow processes and the needs of the Health First organization based upon fluctuations in patient volume

One (1) year of experience in a healthcare environment or clerical roleCertification : Certified Administrative Professional. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start dateSkills / Knowledge / Abilities :
