The HSE Engineer will support the execution of HSE (Health, Saftey and Environment) deliverables for a major capital project within the Pharma Division. The role involves working closely with the HSE Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure safety and environmental standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the HSE Manager to implement safety design requirements and ensure all HSE deliverables are met at each phase of the project.
- Use the HSE project checklist to identify and track safety-related tasks and ensure their timely completion.
- Review project designs and documentation, ensuring adherence to HSE regulations and local safety standards.
- Conduct safety risk assessments and lead safety discussions with subject matter experts across various disciplines, including fire safety, process safety, industrial hygiene, and biosafety.
- Oversee incident reporting and investigations, ensuring compliance with internal safety protocols and providing regular updates on safety deliverables.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering, safety, or related field.At least 3-5 years of experience in safety management, specifically in capital project environments.Strong understanding of HSE regulations, safety design, and construction safety practices.Experience with hazard analysis and safety reviews, as well as handling safety-related incident investigations.Previous pharmaceutical experience is strongly preferred.Skills :
