About This Role

The Cardiovascular Devices and Therapies Lab within the Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering, Kansas State University is seeking a full-time Research Assistant. This position will support research in cardiovascular tissue engineering.

Worksite Description

This position is On-site . On Site required

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular biology and biochemistry methods (e.g., assay preparation, immunohistochemistry, PCR, spectrophotometry)

Willingness to handle animal tissue

Attention to detail and excellent organization skills

Excellent communication skills

Willingness to train and assist junior lab personnel (e.g., undergraduate and graduate student)
