Title : Production Technician

Reports to : Production Manager

Exempt Status : Non-Exempt

Summary :

Position may be involved in any one of the following : Miscellaneous Paints / Inks, Synthetic, Synthetic Pumping. Position may require batch mixing, container handling, chemical handling and pumping, and general maintenance housekeeping. Forklift experience is required as well as ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. frequently on a regular basis.

Primary Duties :

  • Batch mixing according to specifications
  • Handling of chemicals with the proper use of personal protection equipment
  • Transfer of and / or mixing of products from one type of container to another
  • Use of forklift to perform job responsibilities

Non-Essential Duties :

  • Warehouse product organization
  • Maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and warehouse work area
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor

    • Experience :

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Forklift certification with minimum 6 month experience
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective positive working relationships with other employees and customers
