Job Description

As a Security Professional - Distribution Facility Patrol in Daytona Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure atmosphere at a busy logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, remaining visible throughout the site, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, working together with integrity to create a welcoming and secure environment where people are always put first.

Pay Rate : $16.50 / Hour

DayTime Mon 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious or unusual activity encountered during patrols.
  • Support access control processes by monitoring entry and exit points within the logistics and distribution environment.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives as needed regarding security-related matters.
  • Complete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
