Search Solution Group is seeking a Head of Data Science & Analytics on behalf of our client, a leading direct-to-consumer insurance services business specializing in Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Life & Supplemental insurance policies. This role will oversee a team of data scientists and analysts, driving advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives that directly impact marketing, customer engagement, and overall business strategy. The Head of Data Science & Analytics will be responsible for building a data-first culture, developing predictive models, and delivering insights that shape decision-making at the executive level.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a data science and analytics roadmap aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of five data scientists and analysts to deliver impactful results.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify evolving business needs and deliver advanced analytics solutions.
- Drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and advanced statistical methods.
- Execute segmentation, lead scoring, campaign lift analysis, funnel conversion, and attribution modeling to improve marketing outcomes.
- Lead initiatives in personalization, targeting, and marketing experimentation frameworks.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for forecasting model development, deployment, and execution.
- Collaborate with enterprise data management and technology teams to ensure model accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Prepare and present actionable insights and data stories to senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of curiosity, innovation, and continuous learning within the analytics team.
- Champion the integration of data science into marketing and organizational decision-making processes.
Requirements include :
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field required.Experience :
8+ years of relevant data science and analytics experience.Proven track record applying data science in marketing functions.Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.Prior experience in attribution modeling, predictive modeling, campaign lift analysis, KPI forecasting, audience segmentation, and funnel conversion analysis.Skills :
Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and Databricks.Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and present complex data to non-technical and executive audiences.Expertise in advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and marketing experimentation frameworks.Strong leadership skills with a collaborative and results-driven approach.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Certifications :
Relevant data science or analytics certifications are a plus.Knowledge :
Deep understanding of marketing analytics, attribution, measurement, and optimization.Knowledge of clean rooms, geo-performance, and market opportunity analysis is preferred.Familiarity with direct-to-consumer models, financial services, or insurance sectors is highly desirable.Key Competencies :
