• Key Responsibilities :
• Lead the database engineering organization, ensuring excellence in delivery, performance, and support of mission-critical systems.
• Oversee Oracle databases hosted in both
• private and public cloud environments
• Design and implement
• self-service and automated database solutions
• to enhance operational efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align database strategies with
• organizational modernization goals
• Drive innovation through
• automation, orchestration, and continuous improvement
• initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with
• audit and regulatory requirements
• for cloud database operations.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and business teams to build scalable and secure solutions.
• Promote a culture of transparency, innovation, and empowerment within the team.
• Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree
• required;
• Master’s degree
• or equivalent experience preferred.
• 10+ years
• of experience in
• database engineering
• , delivery, and support—specializing in
• Oracle database technologies
• Proven experience with
• Oracle databases in hybrid or cloud (private / public)
• environments.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing
• engineering teams
• and aligning initiatives with enterprise objectives.
• Strong knowledge of
• automation / orchestration tools
• such as
• Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab
• Experience working in the
• financial industry
• or other regulated environments.
• Deep understanding of
• cloud database reliability, scalability, and security best practices
• Familiarity with
• Agile methodologies
• and
• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• management.
• Technical Expertise :
• Advanced proficiency in
• Oracle Database Architecture
• and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience in
• infrastructure automation and CI / CD
• for database environments.
