Greet and seat guests, manage table seating and answer phones
- Deliver Hospitality to every guest
- Greet guests in warm, friendly and courteous manner
- Open door for guests as they enter and exit the restaurant
- Manage and promote the specific Call-Ahead / reservation policies of the restaurant
- Make guests comfortable while waiting
- Manage wait list quoting accurate wait times
- Select appropriate station and table or booth
- Take guests to selected table / booth
- Provide menu to guests
- Describe menu items if requested by guest
- Suggest menu items if appropriate
- Answer telephones and follow phone procedures
- Take phone To-Go orders and deliver to Bartender
- Defer all guest questions regarding allergies to the Manager on Duty
- Assist guests in seating of small children or special needs guests
- Acknowledge guests who are leaving and invite them to return
- Keep entrance area clean and stocked
- Be observant of landscape and pick up trash as necessary
- Check restrooms periodically; wipe counters, clean windows and pick up trash as necessary
- Provide children with a balloon, children’s menu and crayons
- Assist service staff by refilling beverages, clearing plates, and helping to maintain tables and serve guests
- Wash and sanitize hands after removing trash, eating and drinking, using the bathroom, touching own face or hair, or handling food prep
- Alert appropriate personnel to immediately empty trash cans after broken glass has been disposed in them
- Maintain a clean and safe environment reporting any unsafe procedures or conditions to anyone in management
- Participate in executing birthday celebrations
- Comply with all applicable federal, state and local statutes as well as Razzoo’s policies and procedures
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested by a manager at any time
