Scanning Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable temporary employee to assist with the digitization of paper-based employee records. This role will be responsible for scanning physical files and preparing them for upload into our HR information system, Workday. The position will work under the direct supervision of the local Human Resources team and is expected to last approximately 3 to 4 weeks. Responsibilities include organizing and preparing paper employee files for scanning, operating scanning equipment to digitize documents accurately, ensuring scanned files are clear, complete, and properly labeled, following established protocols for file naming and categorization, coordinating with the HR team to verify document types and resolve discrepancies, maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information, assisting with basic data entry or upload tasks into Workday as needed, and reporting progress and any issues to the HR supervisor regularly. Essential skills include previous scanning and data entry experience, the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information, and strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Additional skills and qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, prior administrative or clerical experience preferred, familiarity with scanning equipment and basic computer applications, and a reliable and punctual professional demeanor. This role is 100% onsite at the assigned manufacturing site, with options including Barton, AL; Bowling Green, KY; Harrodsburg, KY; Middletown, OH; or Neenah, WI. The position requires standard business hours, Monday through Friday, and involves working under the supervision of the local HR team. The job involves working with Microsoft Office and Workday software in an office setting, handling sensitive employee information that requires confidentiality. This is a contract position based out of Harrodsburg, KY. The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00 / hr.
