About The Position

Job Title : Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Profession : RN

Specialty : Progressive Care Unit

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 PM - 7 : 30 AM

Hours per Shift : 36

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience required

License : Current state nursing license

Certifications : ACLS and BLS certifications required

Must-Have :

• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Description :

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.

Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education.

Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team.

Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Must be willing to work winter holidays and varying shifts.

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.

A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing is required.

BLS certification is mandatory.
