Principal Facilities Electrical Engineer

Job Summary :

• Work with Engineering and Operations staff to manage all power distribution systems for all site activities from Sub Station to distribution panel for Manufacturing equipment.
• Provide conceptual and detailed designs for power distribution & manufacturing tool installation projects
• Be a team player working with other engineering disciplines, project managers and contractors to design and execute projects safely, on time and in budget.
• Knowledge of Electrical Systems such as the electrical distribution, transformers, breakers, generators, UPS, etc.
• Interface with site maintenance electricians for preventive maintenance and upgrade / shutdown activities.
• Develop power reliability and power quality programs.
• Inspect specific construction and / or maintenance work to ensure adherence to design plans
• Support system start-up, system optimization, and shut down functions. Analyze and determine root cause of factory outages due to system failures
• Manage safety of delivered power systems per NFPA70e, etc.
