Job description

Senior Supply Chain Engineer

The Customer Supply Chain Sr. Engineer position will be responsible for analyzing and delivering optimized solutions where the supply chain teams can execute US Logistics tasks related to escalations inventory management for key KPIs and customer intimacy for TSMC account in Phoenix Arizona as well as influence the BusinessLline (BL) for optimization across the US utilizing world wide data.

The mission of this position is to provide a high level of customer satisfaction in delivering the best customer service each time through accountability dedication and responsiveness.

This position requires access to controlled technology as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730 et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

Escalations / Process Control :

Develops and conducts analyses on complex data sets considering ASML processes.

Drives insight generation through comprehensive data analysis to identify patterns trends and correlations enabling informed decision-making strategic improvements and enhancing predictability to prevent future escalations.

Anticipate Forecast Respond to and process incoming emergency parts orders.

Oversee and engage with executing administrative controls in the SAP system.

Proactively initiate and communicate directly with internal customers to ensure that their needs are understood communicated and fulfilled.

Initiate Follow up and Monitor daily escalations through technical support.

Planning and Field Support :

Main contact for the local CS Service organization and colleagues providing the supply chain expertise to drive the best decisions.

Drive the replenishment and allocation of parts.

Analyze and review usage of local service and sales parts based on historical data and / or projected requirements and develop proposed stocking plans.

Optimize spare part and tool planning mechanism in the US completing analysis for the relevant machines and develop proposals to increase optimization.

Monitor critical parts and influence stocking levels ensuring effective coverage.

Served as the primary Arizona-based liaisonto Business Line (BL) teams facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.

Performance Management :

Structure and optimize data systemsto enable accurate and scalable KPI calculations across multiple business units.

Architect the KPI landscapefor both U.S. and global operations ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.

Ensure customer lead time and fill rate targets are met; NAVs are analyzed for root causes and corrective actions. Implement corrective actions.

Secure and Present relevant performance reporting to stakeholders.

Initiate alignment with local CS and Account Team on total demand plan (Service FCOs Install UF) and matching supply plan on different planning horizons (short-medium-long); includes specifics on NPIs such as definition and release status.

Improve cooperation between local and central logistics covering volume and NPIs.

Customer Intimacy :

Actively seek out cross-functional organizational leadership (CS BL CSCM UIR / AS ect) to understand the long term needs / challenges and provide recommendations to address concerns.

Strengthen strategic customer relationships across the local organization to drive long-term value and alignment.

Develop a deep understanding of Customer Service (CS) local operations and partner cross-functionally to identify and implement process improvements.

Lead high-impact engagements with external customers delivering comprehensive and data-driven reports that support strategic decision-making

Conduct impactful data analysesthat supported cross-functional teams in the U.S. including tailored solutions for key customers such as TSMC.

Continuous improvement :

Lead strategic initiatives optimizing supply chain performance reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.

Champion cost reductions initiatives and drive new reduction proposals engaging senior stakeholders.

Lead the introduction of new processes including the successful safeguarding customer commitment solutions driving operational efficiency and standardization.

Collaborates with lean experts and other stakeholders in combining data analytics with CI tools (E.g. VSM Daily Management Hoshin Kanri Problem Solving tools A3 / 4C).

Education and experience

Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Business Engineering or Supply Chain or equivalent experience.

Preferable Masters degree.

5-10 years of relevant field experience in a complex customer oriented (logistics) environment.

Experience in building a good relationship with customers in supporting their needs; In this position to support our machines at our customer sites being a key member of Service Operation team to support uptime of our machines at our customer.

Knowledge of business complexity supply chain and / or relevant industry.

Experience in defining and implementing of new processes across the supply chain against agreed costs proven record on (continuous) improvement-projects.

Know how about Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).

Advanced competencies in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of ASML logistics procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities :
