What You'll Do

As a Project Manager at Liberty, you'll oversee projects from planning to closeout-ensuring field crews, subcontractors, and clients all move in sync. You'll not just manage projects-you'll build and lead successful teams that bring them to life.

Project Planning & Setup

Review and interpret contracts, specifications, estimates, and plans.

Develop project budgets, cost codes, and billing schedules.

Determine and order required materials, equipment, and manpower.

Leadership & Team Building

Lead and motivate project teams to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality work.

Coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable to Liberty's standards of performance.

Foster collaboration between office staff, field crews, and subcontractors.

Execution & Oversight

Coordinate with foremen to build and update look-ahead schedules.

Monitor costs, code expenditures, and prepare financial projections.

Manage subcontractors-negotiate scope, price, schedule, and oversee progress.

Documentation & Communication

Prepare and track submittals, RFIs, PIPs, and project documentation.

Communicate daily with field crews on schedules, reports, and change orders.

Issue notices of delays or impacts (weather, trades, scheduling).

Represent Liberty's interests in all negotiations and client interactions.

Problem Solving & Change Management

Identify and resolve discrepancies in design or contract requirements.

Price and negotiate forward change orders with owners.

Ensure revised submittals, materials, and resources are in place for added work.

What We're Looking For

Experience : Minimum 5 years in construction management (electrical / public works experience preferred).

Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; Construction Management degree or equivalent experience strongly valued.

Leadership : Demonstrated ability to build, inspire, and lead high-performing teams.

Skills :

Strong financial and analytical skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with COINS or similar systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Ability to prioritize, manage time, and work independently with minimal supervision.
