The primary goal is to maximize the functional status of hospitalized patients. Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, implementing, and modifying age-appropriate treatment programs. Participation in discharge planning is essential. The role requires performing administrative duties and engaging in performance improvement activities. Pursuing professional growth is expected. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. Shifts for this role will run from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM. This position primarily covers an acute rehabilitation unit, but may require floating to inpatient if census is low.
