• Work 4x10 hour shifts during daytime hours with flexibility based on case schedules
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours limited to on-call responsibilities
• Circulate Cardiothoracic and Vascular cases in 18-room OR suite
• Support 2 cardiovascular surgeons with various surgical procedures
• Handle CABGs, lung procedures (robot and laparoscopic), endoscopic and open vascular cases, carotid endarterectomies, valve replacements, and aneurysm repairs
• 2 years of experience required
• ACLS certification required
• Must have knowledge of Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgical equipment
• Proficiency in EPIC charting tools including OpTime required
• Must understand and follow aseptic technique and maintain sterility consciousness
• Black scrubs required
• No float requirements
• Complete hospital and nursing competencies, mandatory in-services, and MyEducation assignments within required timeframes
• Perform patient hand-offs using safety tools like SBAR and Report at Bedside
• Delegate and guide unlicensed healthcare providers and LPNs according to their scope of practice
