Responsibilities :
- Conduct legal research and analysis using Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, and other legal databases
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Prepare and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Represent clients in court hearings and trials
- Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and preparation
- Maintain accurate and organized case files
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice area
Experience :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in the relevant jurisdictionProven experience in litigation, preferably in a law firm settingStrong legal research and writing skillsExcellent negotiation and communication abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneouslySkills :
