Job Title : Senior Patient Registrar

Location : Flushing, NY 11355

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (Includes a 45-minute break)

Pay Rate : $24 – $30 per hour

Job Overview :

We are seeking a bilingual (Chinese-speaking) Senior Patient Registrar to support front-end administrative functions in a busy healthcare setting located in Flushing, NY. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, experienced in medical office operations, and proficient in EMR systems and managed care insurance processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform patient registration, including verification of demographic and insurance information
• Accurately enter data into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, particularly for managed care plans
• Collect co-pays and provide patients with necessary documentation
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance authorizations, referrals, and healthcare regulations
• Apply basic medical coding standards (ICD-9 and CPT-4) where applicable
• Answer incoming calls and provide professional, courteous service
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support efficient patient flow
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements

Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED (Required)
