Job descriptionReview buyer selections, purchase order information, community specifications, and field measurements accurately Is knowledgeable about every customer and their price sheets and specification levels Review pull sheets with subcontractors to insure they understand the details of installations Perform quality assurance procedures of teammates' work to insure accuracy Estimating Functions Confirm specifications with customer and Account Manager Accurately bid plans based on specifications and pricing guidelines provided by Account Manager Communicate professionally with customers and staff via phone, email and face-to-face meetings Purchasing Functions Work with Receiving on damages / wrong items received, and other receiving issues Set up / monitor new item codes per customer needs Meet with vendors on issues and new products Work with estimating and purchasing on new costs and products Sales Functions Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction to the appropriate person(s) at Premier to expedite a positive outcome and solution Perform cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers to better understand their business and ours maximizing our cost to benefit ratio of all services sold Excel experience is required Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus Every employee is expected to attend work regularly and report to work on time : Employees must keep an accurate record of all their hours worked in ADP Professional appearance is required for all employees : No tattered clothing or non-business-related logos or lettering on shirts and hats. If dealing directly with customers, vendors or homeowners a higher level of professional appearance is expected All OSHA required safety procedures must be followed while at any jobsite at any time : Internet usage must be kept to business related searches. All Flooring Services IT security procedures must be followed. Company issued phones, computers, tools, etc. are your responsibility and need to be handled with care, stored in their cases and properly maintained. All equipment is to be kept up to manufacturer specifications. SUMMARY : Perform all duties in a professional manner in accordance with Premier Stair's Mission and Values. Perform essential functions related to estimating and processing staircase and millwork jobs.
OVERVIEW OF YOUR DAILY TASKS :
- Processing Functions
Produce at least 7 pull sheets daily of material packages to be sent out on staircase jobs
Perform take off from plans to identify all staircase and millwork components that need to be bid
Coordinate with Corporate on daily / weekly / monthly purchasing needs
Frequent shared communication with operational departments to include scheduling, processing, purchasing, or estimating regarding product development, allocation, and other pertinent information for promoting our business relationship with current customers and new customers
ADDITIONAL DETAILS :
Work hours are a typical 8 hour work day beginning at 7 or 8 a.m.
Office Professional attire including long pants, collared shirts, close toed shoes. Blue jeans allowed on Fridays.
Including wearing hard hats and / or safety goggles if necessary
