What you’ll work on

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial ammonia (NH3) refrigeration systems and auxiliary equipment.
  • Perform routine checks, isolate faults, and restore optimal performance quickly.
  • Complete preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
  • Document work thoroughly and keep accurate maintenance histories.
  • Partner with teammates to sustain a safe, efficient workplace.
  • Use forklifts and pallet jacks; climb ladders; wear fall protection; and follow Lockout / Tagout protocols.
  • Track developments in refrigeration technology and best practices.
  • Follow all safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.

    • What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 1 year of refrigeration experience listed in your application work history, or completion of a refrigeration maintenance training program (experience may be combined from multiple employers to meet the 1-year minimum).
  • Rehire policy : Eligible after 180 days away and fewer than three prior terms of employment at this facility.
  • 18+ years old with valid identification.
  • Comfort using standard hand tools.
  • Open to possible overtime and weekend shifts.
  • Ability to finish computer-based training and enter data in SAP.
  • Read and understand work instructions.
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs; climb 120 feet of stairs and ladders up to 60 feet; stand for long stretches; and operate in extreme heat, cold, and inclement weather.
