A company is looking for a Surgery Scheduler to join their Surgical Oncology team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage assigned physicians' clinical workload and patient phone calls
Schedule patient surgeries and coordinate treatment care plans across multiple locations
Perform administrative duties including handling correspondence and confirming surgery dates
Required Qualifications
High school diploma required
2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting with complex patient scheduling
EPIC experience highly preferred
Broad knowledge of medical front office operations and medical terminology
Familiarity with insurance plans and ICD / CPT coding
