Cashier Position

Jubitz is currently seeking a part-time cashier to add to our marketplace convenience store! In your first 90 days, you will get to know your team, and learn standard operating procedures for your position. You will also learn about the culture and history of Jubitz, and how we strive to provide a world class customer experience (wcce) to everyone, including employees, and through our efforts, we were named a top workplace in Oregon 7 years in a row!

We are looking for a motivated, punctual, and hard-working person.

Wage: $17.25 - $18.25 (plus overnight differential)

Work status: part-time

Schedule: Tuesday & Wednesday (11:00pm - 7:00am)

Training schedule: day shift

Experience & education:

One year of cash-handling experience preferred.

Must be able to obtain Oregon food handlers certificate within 30 days of hire.

Skills & attributes:

Ability to handle a complex variety of tasks simultaneously while maintaining professional composure and positive approach.

Maintain punctual, regular and predictable attendance.

Self-motivated and able to complete tasks.

Strong customer service skills.

Ability to operate cash register and count change to customers.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and assist with fuel purchases

Operate the point-of-sale system and handle cash transactions accurately

Monitor fuel levels and arrange for refills as needed

Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with company policies and procedures

Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

Complete daily cash reports and assist with inventory management

Comply with safety regulations and procedures
