The Role
The Senior Director, Chief of Staff to the EVP, Chief Marketing Officer will be a motivated and adaptable individual who will ensure the Senior Executive can execute against defined priorities. This individual will help the EVP,CMO identify the areas where they must direct their focus and help streamline activities. The Chief of Staff also partners closely with the Executive Assistant to strategically manage the leader's time and help determine fit with the priorities. This role is critical to the systematic operating function of the Lumen Marketing leadership team as we transform our business.
The Main Responsibilities
Critical advisor to the EVP, CMO and subsequent leadership team in progressing key objectives and identifying and solving challenges
Partner with cross functional leadership teams on the creation of the annual strategy & plan. Develop the organization goals, KPIs and success metrics. Maintain and keep strategy presentations up to date
Develop and refine rhythm of business to ensure visibility by consistent monitoring of the business objectives, including all key leading indicators from a financial and operational perspective
Manage annual budget
Define and execute direct and extended staff meeting agendas. This includes cadence of town halls, management meetings, 1 on 1 reviews, and operation reviews
Ensure executive is thoroughly prepared for all external and large internal meetings; manage necessary prep calls, ensure prep information is consolidated into a digestible format, etc
Develop key messages and create presentations on behalf of senior executive by representing and communicating the priorities of leadership across the entire Lumen organization
In addition to partnering with HR on people planning (work force planning, location strategy, org structure management, and people metrics) this individual will also partner with all support functions (Finance, Strategy, Procurement, etc)
Manage and drive critical cross-functional initiatives including CEO Change Imperatives and Stop List
Provide oversight of, and creation of, linkages for cross-functional projects, initiatives, and efforts across the senior leadership team

What We Look For In A Candidate
Proven track record of success in an operational role where executive priorities are translated into actionable plans that can be tracked.
Executive presence and excellent communication skills
Ability to navigate complex stakeholder management situations
Attention to detail across a broad range of contexts and topics
Advanced PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills
Experience with multiple areas of finance, business transformation and / or management consulting is a plus
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years' experience in a similar role with a Bachelor's degree
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

$171,447 - $228,596 in these states : AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY
$180,020 - $240,026 in these states : CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$188,592 - $251,456 in these states : AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
