This opportunity is in the Information Technology department.

Role Description :

Do you have a passion for Agile practices and a talent for helping teams excel? As a Scrum Master II at Safety National, you'll be a vital part of our Agile transformation. You will guide a software development team in applying the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), helping ensure that the team delivers high-quality, transparent solutions aligned with enterprise goals. In this role, you'll coach team members, manage sprint timelines, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and proactively identify and resolve impediments. You'll partner with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and Agile Delivery leadership to ensure alignment with program increments and team objectives. Your responsibilities will include sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, retrospectives, performance reporting, and maintaining team documentation. Qualifications : Education :

A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or an appropriate combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications :

• Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.
• 1 or more years of experience in a Scrum Master role
• Familiarity with software development
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts
• Strong communication and servant leadership skills
• Effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

In our vision to be First with Co-Workers, compensation is only one piece of the comprehensive total rewards package we offer. The target base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $97,500. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
