General Manager

Thrillz High Flying Adventure Park is a premier indoor entertainment destination, offering guests innovative and adrenaline-fueled experiences. With three locations and continued expansion, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company!

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead our King of Prussia location while also supporting the growth of our brand. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to manage high-volume entertainment venues. Additionally, the General Manager will occasionally travel to assist with new park openings and ensure operational consistency across locations.

As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of park operations, including staff management, guest experience, financial performance, facility maintenance, and safety. You will be responsible for ensuring that the KOP location operates efficiently while upholding Thrillz's standards of safety, customer service, and cleanliness.

In addition to overseeing operations, this role will require oversight of maintenance projects and troubleshooting technical challenges, such as point-of-sale (POS) and phone system issues. While you will have a maintenance team and external support as needed, you should be comfortable occasionally assisting with hands-on maintenance tasks and addressing minor technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of Thrillz KOP, ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging environment for guests.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with the site landlord and local vendors for escalated building issues (HVAC, plumbing, exterminators, security, etc.)
  • Ensure park procedures and policies are consistently executed.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, providing training, guidance, and leadership.
  • Hire, onboard, train, and develop new and current staff members.
  • Ensure staffing levels are appropriate on a daily basis; step in to support operations when needed.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, facility maintenance, and guest service standards.
  • Analyze park performance, manage budgets, and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Support the opening of new locations, including occasional travel to assist with setup, training, and operational consistency.
  • Address guest feedback and resolve issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with repairs of arcade games, VR attractions, vending machines, and laser tag vests, or coordinate with manufacturers and external vendors when necessary.
  • Partner with maintenance staff to ensure the facility and attractions are guest-ready at all times.
  • Proactively engage with guests regarding their experiences and increase the number of 5-star reviews on Google.
  • Oversee the party planning team and ensure seamless execution of the party program.
  • Ensure on-site inventory is updated weekly / bi-weekly and oversee procurement processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges with the POS and phone systems, escalating issues to IT support when needed.
  • Be present during inspections, noting areas for improvement.
  • Ensure shared spaces (including parking lot) remain clean and orderly.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in entertainment, hospitality, or a similar high-volume environment.
  • Strong ability to manage operations, staff, and guest services in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to adapt to a growing company while following established operational systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally as needed for new park openings and operational support.
