We are seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer with expertise in the design of high-performance data structures and storage schemas as well as the ability to perform complex queries to meet mission needs. This role works with the client to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to elicit requirements and analyze processes for technological solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform data investigations using advanced queries and data analysis to identify erroneous data, opportunities to streamline data collection and storage, enhance system performance.
• Support the analysis of future program data requirements to recommend data storage tools and techniques that provide optimal performance and cost-effective solutions for mission requirements.
• Collaborate with software development team to design data schemas and databases to support current program needs and future system architecture upgrades and transformations
• Support end users through the design and application of advanced queries to identify data issues and design solutions to resolve them.
• Design and implement scalable database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and sequences
• Perform database tuning or database queries and code to ensure high system efficiency
• Collaborate with Data team to implement system upgrades and patches to ensure databases and associated tools are current and secure

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
