The role you'll contribute :

\n \n\n \n

The Surgical Technologist II is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse according to the accepted clinical standards of care.

\n \n\n \n

Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedure

\n \n

Scrubs, gowns, and gloves

\n \n

Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications / solutions needed for procedure displays knowledge of procedure and patient postitioning

\n \n

Performs appropriate counts with circulator prior to the operation and before incision is closed

\n \n

Gowns and gloves surgeon and assistants

\n \n\n \n

Qualifications

\n \n\n \n

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

\n \n\n \n

High School Graduate / GED

\n \n

Successful Completion of accredited Surgical Technology program

\n \n

Commitment to work on a Specialty Surgical Team of Open Heart, NeuroSurgery or Orthopedic

\n \n

CST certification obtained through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Tech in Surgery - Certified (ST-C) obtained through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) / BLS

\n \n\n \n
