IP Patent Paralegal (Chemical)- St. Louis

Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 100 firm seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Patent Paralegal to support its Chemical Science Practice Group. This hybrid role may be based in Chicago, Edwardsville, Kansas City, or St. Louis and offers an excellent opportunity to work with top attorneys on high-level global patent portfolios.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of IP experience managing pharmaceutical and chemical portfolios, with strong knowledge of USPTO, PCT, and international patent rules and procedures. Responsibilities include preparing and filing patent applications and related documents, managing global dockets, coordinating international filings, reviewing USPTO correspondence, and maintaining accurate client portfolio reports.

Candidates should possess exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and proficiency in CPi, ePCT, and Microsoft Office. A Paralegal Certificate is required.

Compensation: $110,000–$150,000/year, plus comprehensive benefits.
