Laborer III
Position Summary :
The Laborer III is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily labor operations, ensuring high standards in production, quality control, and safety. In addition to performing all tasks required at lower levels, the Laborer III may supervise team members, lead training initiatives, and serve as a subject-matter expert on operational processes and best practices.

- Execute all responsibilities of Laborer I and II with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of Laborer I and II staff, ensuring adherence to all production and safety protocols.
- Lead quality control and housekeeping initiatives, ensuring that all labeling, storage, and safety procedures are rigorously followed.
- Manage routine inventory audits and support process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide training and mentorship to new and less experienced laborers, ensuring consistent application of company standards.
- Act as a liaison between labor teams and supervisory staff to communicate process improvements and resolve issues.
- Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of equipment used in production and housekeeping tasks.
- Assist in managing hazardous waste procedures and emergency spill response as needed.
Education :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Additional technical training or certifications in manufacturing processes or safety are preferred.
Experience / Skills / Abilities :
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, with a proven record of leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, quality assurance, and production operations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, solve complex problems, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Excel) and familiarity with inventory systems is a plus.
Job Expectations / Working Conditions :
- Must be able to remain stationary for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Regularly required to bend, reach, squat, pull, and push.
- May require working in varying temperature conditions and a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Occasional overtime may be required during peak production periods.
