What you'll be doing
- Develop, optimize, and maintain Python-based solutions and automation workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Assist in the design and enhancement of data pipelines, automation scripts, and reporting tools.
- Ensure accuracy, reliability, and scalability of data processes and analytics solutions.
- Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
- Promotes and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within the assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Performs and delivers on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Collects, interprets, and analyzes data across their area of responsibility to support management decisions on projects, improve inefficiencies, and enhance business performance.
- Performs standard data mining, validation, and reconciliation of data across various applications.
- Performs basic analytic coding of ad-hoc requests supporting projects and works with the business stakeholders to continuously assess results and refine the analytics.
- Develops queries and prepares data for reporting and analysis using Python, SQL, Dataiku, and/or other data science technologies.
- Ensures integrity of data for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted policies and pre-established data definitions.
- Documents and validates technical designs including logical data frameworks used and detailed reporting specifications consistent with report requirements.
- Serves as a resource to team members on standard assignments and projects.
- Prepares presentations for senior leadership, including presenting data in charts, graphs and tables.
What we’re looking for
Must haves:
- 4 Year/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
- Strong Python coding skills, including experience with libraries such as pandas, NumPy, or similar.
- 1 – 3+ Years experience in analytics that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-haves:
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools such as Dataiku or similar.
- Proficiency with Data Visualization tools such as MS Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
- Exposure to RPA processes and platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or similar.

The pay range for this position is $55,700 - $100,200 with
anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
