Recruiting Agent (Contractor)
JobGet is seeking a detail-oriented Recruiting Agent (Contractor) to support our client in filling a variety of positions. In this role, you will conduct structured phone screenings. They will be in the form of a Virtual Hiring event where you will evaluate candidate qualifications and move qualified applicants forward in the hiring and onboarding process.
As the first point of contact for candidates, you will represent our client's brand with professionalism, patience, and empathy, ensuring every applicant has a positive and respectful experience. This role requires balancing fast-paced interviewing with accurate note-taking and decision-making. This role will pay $15 / hour USD.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct structured phone interview screenings with candidates.
- Follow a provided interview script while managing off-script conversations confidently.
- Evaluate candidate responses and make pass / fail hiring decisions based on established criteria.
- Record all candidate answers and decisions accurately.
- Represent the client brand with professionalism and positivity in all candidate interactions.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle candidate data responsibly.
- Stay organized while balancing steady interview volume with efficiency and accuracy.
- Communicate promptly with candidates regarding next steps, interview outcomes, and timelines.
- Coordinate onboarding details and ensure a smooth handoff between recruiting and onboarding teams.
Who You Are :
Strong English proficiency (verbal and written).Excellent communication, listening, and note-taking skills.Ability to type quickly and accurately while on live video calls.Reliable computer, headset, and stable internet connection.Ability to work 20-40 hours / week during 8 AM 7 PM EST. (Shifts will vary in times)Able to work a fluctuating work schedule when needed (shifts are assigned based on work available, so shifts are not guaranteed each week).Professionalism, patience, and respect when engaging with candidates.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.Previous recruiting, staffing, call center, or customer service experience.Experience managing high-volume candidate pipelines.
