Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or suspicious behavior. Observe and report on all activities and / or incidents that may occur during the shift, documenting details as required by site procedures. Collaborate with staff, visitors, and local authorities as needed to support security-related objectives and maintain order within the location. Adhere to all company policies and procedures as set by Allied Universal and the specific government site. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Security Officer - Federal Building Patrol
As a Security Officer - Federal Building Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your routine patrols and strong communication skills will support a welcoming and secure environment for visitors and staff.
