The role of a Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician involves providing coverage in a regional medical center, managing up to 12 patients per day in an inpatient unit, and performing consults in the emergency department. This position requires board certification in Psychiatry and an active Oregon license, along with participation in a call rotation and weekend duties. The contract can last from 3 to 6 months with hourly compensation and malpractice coverage included.

• Regional Medical Center in need of ongoing coverage starting January, 2022.
• Eugene, OR area.
• Contract 3-6 months or longer, coverage needed for up to a year.
• Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
• Inpatient unit, 12 patients per day. Rounding and 1 : 6 (2-4 weeknights per month, 1 weekend every six weeks).
• Primary function will be C / L work with ED consults and Inpatient call rotation.
• BC / BE Psychiatry. Oregon license active or in process for consideration.
• Credentialing timeframe two months.
• EMR system Epic.
• Hourly compensation, expenses, and malpractice coverage are provided.
