At Catapult, we are supporting our member, WorkSpace Moving Solutions, in their search for a Warehouse Assistant. This is a full time, onsite role in Durham, NC. The schedule is estimated to be Monday-Friday with occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, playing an essential part in receiving, organizing, documenting, and maintaining inventory for our clients, many of whom operate within FDA-regulated laboratory environments.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates clearly, and takes pride in maintaining both digital and physical order within the warehouse. The Warehouse Assistant helps ensure accurate product tracking through our FDA-grade inventory system, supports efficient inbound and outbound operations, and works closely with the operations team to anticipate and prepare for changing space and project needs.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately document incoming shipments
  • Organize, stage, and prepare items for outbound moves and deliveries
  • Maintain detailed digital records using warehouse management systems
  • Assist with truck loading and unloading as needed
  • Keep warehouse spaces clean, safe, and organized
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, coordinators, and customers
  • Identify and report damages or inventory discrepancies promptly
  • Perform routine equipment checks and readiness assessments

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs. independently and standing for long periods
  • Forklift and order picker operation (training provided; experience a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, and punctual
  • Willingness to learn and follow established procedures
  • U.S. work authorization required
