College is currently seeking applicants for a part-time Engineering Professor. Lecture rate is $93.18 / hour and the lab rate is $79.59 / hour.

This part-time position is an ongoing recruitment in which applications are collected year-round. Positions will be filled as program needs arise.

Position Responsibilities

GENERAL FACULTY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Strive to enhance teaching and active learning techniques

Use Canvas to assess student progress and provide timely feedback

Use appropriate teaching methods to respond to varying student learning styles

Effectively use computer applications for instruction and communication where appropriate

Demonstrate knowledge of the mission of the College, its student population, and educational goals

POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

Instruct classes and labs utilizing techniques and knowledge of the engineering design process that facilitates student learning

Uphold engineering department curriculum standards

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES :

Experience in mentoring, training, or teaching

Experience in technical communication

Ability to work well as a member of a team.

Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.
