Job description

AMST is currently seeking a Quality Engineer with experience in production and assembly environments to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. We are looking for someone assertive, passionate, and diplomatic, capable of achieving high-quality results efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all aspects of quality management, including process audits and customer interactions.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure the quality of purchased parts.
  • Create, document, and implement inspection criteria and procedures.
  • Provide and oversee inspection activities throughout the production cycle.
  • Inspect products at various stages of production.
  • Document production issues through reports.
  • Examine the quality of incoming materials used in production.
  • Monitor and evaluate internal production processes.
  • Track products through manufacturing to ensure standards are met.
  • Identify non-conforming products and develop corrective actions.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering or a related field (Required).
  • ISO certifications and experience (Required).
  • QA / QC and inspection certifications (Preferred).
  • Comfortable being physically present on the production floor.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer service orientation.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Anticipated Salary Range : $90,000 to $110,000

    Pay Range : $80,000 - $120,000
