Role : PCIe QA Engineer
Comp : Base up to 130k + bonus + RSUs - total package up to around $190k!
Location : San Jose (100% onsite)

Position Overview
This is a stellar opportunity to work on AIML products for an industry leading semiconductor engineering company. We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven validation engineer to join our team. This role focuses on end-to-end testing of a high-performance interconnect solution, ensuring its reliability, efficiency, and standards compliance across diverse system configurations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement test plans and test cases for PCIe products.
- Perform thorough testing of PCIe interfaces and components to ensure quality and reliability.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and specifications.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams for product improvement.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on quality considerations.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
Essential Qualifications
Master's Degree in Engineering or a Bachelors + 2 yrs work experienceStrong experience with PCIe testing include familiarity with at least most of : PCIe Config Space, Link Training, ACS, Hotplug, Virtualization, P2P, BMC interaction, AER / DPC, BackplanesBonus Points For
Python scripting experience, especially in system-level and network automationExposure to GPU technologies (AMD / NVIDIA), collective communication libraries (RCCL / NCCL), and compute platforms (RoCM / CUDA)Knowledge of NVMe storage and stress testing toolsExperience with PCIe diagnostic tools like analyzers, jammers, and traffic generatorsBackground in networking protocols, particularly L2 / L3 and RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE), with applications in AI / ML and HPC environmentsFamiliarity with deep learning models including NLP, recommendation systems, and image classificationBenefits
