Physical Therapist for Pediatric Department

Summary : The position of physical therapist, in keeping with the mission of Momentum Pediatric Therapy Network (PTN), includes the following responsibilities, with an emphasis on provision of high quality, compassionate, professional services for children with special needs and their families. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Provides outpatient physical therapy service in a clinical setting and / or within our center-based early intervention program.

2. Works alongside and collaborate with other professionals / therapists.

3. Varied caseload which may include early intervention and rehabilitative and habilitative type of services for children ages 0 to 18 years with a variety of diagnoses (e.g., developmental delay, neuromotor impairments, musculoskeletal injuries).

4. Knows, follows, and upholds Momentum’s policies and procedures.

5. Performs other duties as assigned to meet department and / or business needs. Supervisory Responsibilities :

Supervision of staff is not required.

Education and / or Experience : Bachelor’s degree in related field. Current Physical Therapy California state license.

Pediatric experience in working with a variety of disorders.

Requirements : Must have CPR Certificate. Must be able to successfully pass all post offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, health screening, required vaccinations and TB screening. Must be able to present proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
