Location : Hybrid – Houston, TX 77002 (In-office Tues–Thurs, remote Mon & Fri)

Employment Type : Full-Time, Direct Hire (Temp / Contract considered)

Reports To : Director of Compensation

About the Role

We are seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our HR team and support the design, implementation, and management of compensation programs. This role will ensure that pay practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with organizational goals. The Compensation Analyst will play a critical role in job description updates, compensation audits, and offer reviews while collaborating with HR, Recruiting, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compensation Support : Review and provide input on high-volume job offers (~50 per month, not all requiring compensation approval).
  • Job Description Updates : Lead the transition of job descriptions to a new standardized template reflecting updated organizational structure and responsibilities (2-year phased project).
  • Market Analysis & Benchmarking : Utilize PayFactors and other survey data (Gallagher, MGMA, AGMA, Forvis) for competitive pay analysis, especially for physician / clinician roles.
  • HRIS Management : Maintain and update reporting relationships and job data in ExponentHR.
  • Compensation Audits : Audit pay practices and hours by title to ensure equity and compliance.
  • Collaboration : Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Recruiting, and organizational leaders to support compensation-related initiatives.

  • Qualifications

  • Experience : 5+ years of compensation analysis or related HR experience (healthcare industry experience not required).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and make recommendations.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships across HR and business teams.
  • Proficiency with compensation systems, HRIS platforms, and Excel.
