About the Role
As the Regional Sales Director (East Coast) at Groendyke Transport, your pivotal role in leading our expansion efforts across the East Coast trucking market requires a rapid grasp of the industry making prior transportation experience crucial.
Ideally, you'll bring expertise in Bulk Sales and Transportation Account Management, ensuring a swift integration into our dynamic team.
Your leadership will be essential in crafting and executing strategic sales plans, forecasting revenue, and fortifying client relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead and execute strategic sales plans for Groendyke Transport's expansion across the East Coast trucking market
- Utilize prior transportation experience to quickly understand and navigate the industry, with a focus on Bulk Sales
- Provide strong leadership to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring rapid integration of new team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast revenue, optimize performance, and align services with market demands
- Strengthen and expand client relationships through effective account management and industry insights
- Bring expertise in Transportation Account Management, enhancing the team's ability to navigate and succeed in client interactions
- Play a key role in shaping and maintaining a dynamic sales force, offering guidance, mentorship, and the necessary tools for success
- Drive results by capturing new business opportunities and fortifying existing partnerships
Requirements
- 40%-50% travel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation : $90,000-$110,000 (based on experience)
