Job Title : RN PACU

Location : Middlebury, Vermont, 05753

Contract duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 4X10 -hours

Schedule : Days

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide safe, competent post-anesthesia nursing care for patients across the lifespan (ages 0–99).
• Perform pre-operative assessments and patient education.
• Manage Phase I (immediate post-op) and Phase II (step-down / recovery) care.
• Complete patient discharges, ensuring comprehension of instructions.
• Recover C-section patients and support emergent after-hours surgical cases.
• Monitor and manage pain control, hemodynamic stability, airway function, and post-op complications.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical team, and support staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Operate and troubleshoot monitoring and infusion equipment as necessary.
• Document care accurately using EPIC electronic health record.
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing timely response within 30 minutes.
