Alta Equipment Company is seeking an Operations Manager to run our Concord, NH branch. The Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of the parts and service departments along with daily branch operations. The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to :
Oversee all aspects of operationsDrive business to meet forecasted goals while adding growthP&L for Parts and ServiceEmployee and customer relationsMonitor building conditionInventory controlFluent in the operations of the Parts and Service departmentSupervise the operation of the service departmentFoster a positive customer and employee relations atmosphereReview & analyze department data meet sales and profit goalsProcess and review work orders, invoicing and customer quotesMonitor employee training progressOversee payroll entry and audit for accuracyPurchase order acquisition and coordinationMonitor work in progressIncorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activitiesIncorporating Safety into daily activitiesPerforms other duties as assignedBranch Budget developmentCapEx building upgrade budgetsConsistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start timeQualifications
A minimum of 4-6 years of management experienceBachelor's degree is preferred.Dealership experience is highly preferred.Good mechanical aptitudeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGood customer relations and people skillsAbility to effectively lead others.Time management skills.Computer Skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Business Intelligence (BI); Crystal Reports, Fleetmatics, PayTrace, Concur, ExtendLanguage Skills - Intermediate : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
